Welcome to our Annual Members’ Exhibition for 2025.
Every year we invite all Moore Camera Club members to submit four images of their choice — any subject, any style, taken at any time. The result is a wonderfully varied collection that reflects the creativity, curiosity, and individuality of our photographers.
From landscapes to portraits, street moments to wildlife encounters, abstract experiments to documentary work, this exhibition celebrates the full spectrum of what our members love to capture. It’s a showcase of personal vision, shared enthusiasm, and the joy of making images.
All photographs remain the copyright of their creators. If you’d like to use or feature any image, please contact the club and we’ll be happy to put you in touch with the photographer.
To create this image I took two separate images, one of some trees on a snowy day the other of my sister, proceeding then to edit both images in lightroom classic to taste then moving images to photoshop merging both images.
Using long exposure to create this image, this technique captures movement of light using a light source behind the glass and using long exposure that leaves trails of light when captured.

This mountain range can be found in the Glencoe region of the Scottish Highlands. Taken late in the evening during a gap in relentless rainfall, I believe this capture highlights how beauty can be found in this area whatever the weather.
The most photographed tree in Wales can be found on the bank of Llyn Padarn, Llanberis. I captured this image at sunrise one morning to take advantage of the water stillness before the arrival of the swimmers. I believe the image give's peace in this world of madness.
A whistle stop tour of the Scottish Highland in October 2024, I stopped to capture this scene at Corpach, a village north of Fort William. I wanted to show the size of the shipwrecked vessel in relation to the houses in the distance, and the Ben Nevis mountain range.

The waterfall pictured is based in Eskdale Valley in the Lake District. To create this shot I used an ND filter & slow shutter speed to give the water a smoothing effect. To get a central shot I had to position myself in the middle of the river, safe to say I got very wet but luckily the camera did not! Haha

Taken during a visit to the Burtonwood WW2 Heritage Museum at Gulliver’s World. This jeep is from the early 1940’s and was made by America airman La Verne Keats for the children of Warrington one Christmas. There is picture of him presenting it to a young boy, John Postlethaite, who has since donated it to the Museum. If you’ve never been to the museum it’s well worth a visit.

Taken during a preview of a thought provoking exhibition in the basement of the closed M&S store in Warrington. I used the available light as it gave a sinister feel and flash would have ruined that. There were many exhibits but this one caught my eye as it depicted, to me, the refugee and homeless plight. Converted to B&W

During a visit to a local boxing gym this guy was happy to pose for a few shots. This one I liked because of the unusual view point, I also think the B&W works very well to add a bit of ‘grit’ to the image. Converted to B&W.
At the Friday photo group I volunteer at this set-up just appealed to me and I felt the camera and world press photo book provided a strong image. It was taken in B&W as I preferred it to the colour version.
